Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (BLR) stands at Devanahalli, north of the city. It has two terminals: Terminal 2 handles all international flights and Air India, Air India Express and Star Air domestic flights, and Terminal 1 handles IndiGo, Akasa Air, SpiceJet and Alliance Air domestic flights. A free shuttle bus links them.
International passengers clear immigration first, where Terminal 2 has more than 30 counters and e-gates, then collect their bags and walk through customs into the arrivals area, with currency exchange and SIM card kiosks. Domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim. Pre-booked drivers wait in the public arrivals area outside the terminal exit.

e-Arrival Card and visa. Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, must submit India's online e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before landing; it has been mandatory since 1 April 2026. Most visitors also need a visa, and citizens of many countries can apply online for an e-Visa before travel.
Confirm your terminal. International flights use Terminal 2, while IndiGo and Akasa Air domestic flights use Terminal 1, so send us your flight number and arrival terminal, and tell us if your airline changes it.
Pickup rules. Commercial vehicles at BLR may not wait at the curb and must use designated parking lots, so your driver meets you in arrivals and walks with you to the car.
