Airports in Aruba
Aruba is a Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, served by Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) in Oranjestad.
Aruba is a small island in the southern Caribbean, about 30 km north of the coast of Venezuela, and one of the constituent countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Its capital is Oranjestad, and its official languages are Papiamento and Dutch, with English and Spanish widely spoken.
All international flights land at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA), on the edge of Oranjestad. From there, most visitors head north along the west coast to the low-rise resorts of Eagle Beach and the high-rise hotels of Palm Beach, or to the villas and rental homes of Noord just inland. The quieter south coast, with Savaneta and San Nicolas, lies southeast of the airport.
Because the island is compact, every transfer from the airport is short, and a private ride takes you from the terminal to your hotel or villa without stops.
