Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Grantley Adams International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Barbados airport transfers start as you leave the Arrivals Terminal, where your driver waits with a name sign after immigration, baggage claim and customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and the price is fixed per vehicle and agreed before you fly, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.

Our Barbados airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared hotel run that stops along the south and west coasts. Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) is at Seawell in Christ Church, near the southern tip of Barbados, and is run by GAIA Inc. Arrivals and departures use separate buildings side by side; every arriving flight comes into the Arrivals Terminal.
Inside, you go through immigration, collect your bags from one of five carousels and pass through customs before reaching the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers. A duty-free shop sells liquor and perfume in the hall before customs.
Barbados is on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4) all year, with no daylight saving time. It uses the Barbados dollar, tied to the US dollar at two to one, and traffic drives on the left.
Online immigration and customs form. Every arriving passenger must complete the form at travelform.gov.bb before landing; it can be submitted up to 72 hours ahead, and the government asks for it at least 24 hours before travel.
Passport and return ticket. Visitors from the US, Canada, the UK and many other countries need no visa for a holiday, but you need a passport valid for your stay and proof of an onward or return flight.
No camouflage. Camouflage clothing and items are illegal in Barbados, including for visitors.
Duty-free and declarations. Barbados has strict customs rules: declare anything that may be prohibited, taxed or dutiable on the online form and at the customs desk.

Grantley Adams is about 13 km (8 miles) southeast of Bridgetown. St. Lawrence Gap on the south coast is about 8 km away, and Holetown on the west coast is about 28 km (17 miles), with traffic around Bridgetown adding time at busy hours.

Every arriving flight uses the Arrivals Terminal, whatever the airline, so there is no terminal to choose. Departures leave from the separate Departures Terminal next door.
Yes. Give the villa or house name, the full address and any gate or access details. Many villas have no street number, so a landmark or the property manager's directions help your driver.
Yes. Book with your flight number and your driver is assigned for your real landing time, including late evening arrivals from Europe and North America.
There is no need. Booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and a meeting point before you land. If someone approaches you in arrivals, check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver waits for the actual landing. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, tell customer service so the pickup can be moved.
Yes. Book a one-way departure or a round trip from your hotel, villa or cruise ship, and give your flight number and departure time, so the pickup is set for check-in and security.
