Bristol Airport (BRS) is at Lulsgate Bottom in North Somerset, southwest of Bristol, and all flights use one terminal. There are no jet bridges, so you walk or take a bus from the aircraft to the terminal.
Flights from outside the UK and Ireland arrive at the immigration hall, where eligible passport holders can use the eGates and others wait in line at the staffed desks; flights from elsewhere in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands normally skip it. Everyone collects bags in the same baggage hall and walks through customs into the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers. Cars wait at the Transport Interchange, a short walk from the terminal.
The UK is on Greenwich Mean Time (UTC+0) and switches to British Summer Time (UTC+1) from late March to late October. It uses pounds sterling.
UK ETA. Most visitors who do not need a visa, including EU and US citizens, need an approved UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before they board; British and Irish citizens do not. Check the rules for your passport on GOV.UK before you fly.
