Calicut International Airport (CCJ), also called Kozhikode or Karipur Airport, stands at Karipur near Kondotty in Malappuram district, on a plateau above the surrounding countryside. It has two passenger terminals: the International Terminal for flights to and from the Gulf and Kuala Lumpur, and a smaller Domestic Terminal for flights within India.
International arrivals come into a two-story arrival building with its own immigration and customs counters and baggage claim belts. Clear immigration, collect your bags, then pass through customs, using the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare. Domestic passengers go straight from the aircraft to baggage claim in the Domestic Terminal.

e-Arrival card. Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, must complete India's free e-Arrival card online within 72 hours before landing, through the Indian Visa Online portal, the Bureau of Immigration website or the Su-Swagatam app. Indian citizens on an Indian passport are exempt.
Visa or e-Visa. Most foreign nationals need a visa to enter India. Many nationalities can apply for an e-Visa online before travel; use only the official Indian Visa Online portal. OCI cardholders do not need a visa.
Customs. Use the Red Channel to declare goods above the duty-free allowance, such as gold or electronics, and the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare.
Indian rupee. India uses the Indian rupee (INR); exchange counters and ATMs are in the terminal.

Your driver meets you just outside the arrivals exit of the terminal you land at, after immigration, baggage claim and customs. International flights arrive at the International Terminal and domestic flights at the smaller Domestic Terminal, so give your flight number when you book. The meeting details are in your confirmation; check the company name before you get in.
Calicut International Airport is about 28 km southeast of Kozhikode city center, at Karipur near Kondotty. The drive along National Highway 66 usually takes about an hour, longer in heavy traffic, and Calicut railway station and Kozhikode Beach are a similar distance. Malappuram town is about 20 km away, and Kondotty is only a few minutes from the airport.
Yes. Calicut International Airport (CCJ) is also known as Kozhikode Airport and Karipur Airport. It is the same single airport, at Karipur in Malappuram district, and it is different from Kannur and Kochi airports elsewhere in Kerala. Check that your ticket shows the code CCJ before you book your transfer from us.

Yes. Many Gulf flights land at Calicut late at night or in the early hours, and you can book a pickup for any arrival time on your flight. Enter your flight number and scheduled arrival when you book, and your driver will be waiting at the arrivals exit when you come out with your bags.
We track the arrival of the flight on your reservation, so your driver adjusts to a delay. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled or diverted to another airport such as Kochi or Kannur, tell customer service as soon as you can so we can move or change your pickup.

Travelers returning from the Gulf often carry extra bags and boxes, and we can assign an SUV, minivan or larger vehicle so everything travels with you in one trip. Oversized items should be mentioned in advance so the right vehicle is sent.

Your pickup time leaves room for the drive plus check-in, security and immigration, and your airline's check-in instructions come first.
