CDG airport transfers start in the public arrivals area of the terminal where your flight lands, Terminal 1, Terminal 3 or one of the Terminal 2 halls from 2A to 2G, and your driver waits there with a name sign. Air France and its partners use Terminal 2, so check the terminal and hall on your ticket; if the airline changes it, the meeting point moves with it. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to an SUV or minivan for a family or small group with luggage.
Each CDG airport transfer from Roissy goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or office in Paris, to Disneyland Paris and the Val d'Europe hotels, to Versailles or La Défense, to a Paris train station, or across to Orly Airport. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), often called Roissy, is the main international airport for Paris and the hub of Air France, in Roissy-en-France, northeast of the city. It has three terminals: Terminal 1, the round original building used mainly by Star Alliance airlines; Terminal 2, a chain of halls from 2A to 2G built around Air France and its partners; and Terminal 3, for charter and low-cost flights. The free CDGVAL train links Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Terminal 2, and Terminal 2G is reached by shuttle bus from the other Terminal 2 halls.
If you fly in from outside the Schengen area, including the US, Canada and the UK, you pass border police before baggage claim; flights from Schengen countries skip passport control. Non-EU visitors are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System on their first entry, with fingerprints and a facial photo, which can add time. After baggage claim you walk through customs into the public arrivals area of your terminal or hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
France is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October. It uses the euro.
Schengen entry. France is in the Schengen area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.

Yes. CDG is the code for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, which is also called Roissy after Roissy-en-France, the town where it stands. You will see Roissy on road signs, and this page books rides from it.

Charles de Gaulle is about 23 km (14 miles) northeast of central Paris, in Roissy-en-France; Orly is about 13 km (8 miles) south of the city. Drive times from CDG depend heavily on traffic, which is heaviest at the morning and evening rush hours.
Air France uses Terminal 2: mostly 2E for long-haul flights, 2F for flights within the Schengen area and 2G for regional flights, and Delta, Korean Air and Japan Airlines also use 2E. Terminal 1 serves mainly Star Alliance airlines plus Qatar Airways, Etihad, Saudia, Aer Lingus and Icelandair; American Airlines uses 2A, Air Canada and British Airways 2C, and easyJet 2D. Check your boarding pass, as assignments change.

Yes. RER B trains run from the CDG 1 station by Terminal 3 and the CDG 2 station in Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Châtelet and Saint-Michel, buses 350 and 351 run to Porte de la Chapelle and Nation, and TGV and Eurostar trains leave from the station in Terminal 2. A private transfer is easier with luggage, late at night or for addresses away from the stations.
There is no need. Turn down ride offers inside the terminal: booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and a meeting point before you land. If someone approaches you in arrivals, check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
