Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Chiang Mai International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Our Chiang Mai airport transfers start in the arrivals hall on the ground floor, after baggage claim and customs. Domestic and international flights come out on the same floor of one building, and your driver meets you at the point named in your confirmation. We track your flight so the pickup follows your real landing time; unlike the taxi counter line, your car is already booked for you.

Each Chiang Mai airport transfer goes door to door, whether you are staying in a soi inside the Old City, a condo off Nimmanhaemin Road or a resort in the hills.
Our Chiang Mai airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves when you come out of arrivals and goes straight to your address, with no stops at other hotels along the main roads. With room for suitcases, trekking bags and strollers, it suits families, groups and travelers heading on to Mae Rim, Chiang Rai or Pai.

Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) is the airport of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, about 4 km southwest of the city center, and a hub for Thai AirAsia. It has a domestic terminal and an international terminal, two wings of one building: flights within Thailand use the Domestic Terminal and international flights the International Terminal. Thai AirAsia and Thai VietJet Air use both.
On an international arrival, follow the Arrivals signs to passport control, then collect your bags at carousels 4 or 5 and pass through customs. Domestic passengers go straight to carousels 1 to 3. Both come out into the arrivals hall on the ground floor, where you find currency exchange counters, ATMs and SIM card booths. The airport is open 24 hours.
Chiang Mai is on Indochina Time (UTC+7) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): Foreign visitors arriving on an international flight must complete the free TDAC at tdac.immigration.go.th within 72 hours before arrival. It replaced the paper TM.6 card.
30-day visa exemption: Since 15 September 2026, travelers from eligible countries can enter visa-free for up to 30 days, and some nationalities need a visa or a visa on arrival. Check the rule for your passport, and keep proof of funds handy in case immigration asks.
Domestic arrivals: If you fly in from Bangkok or another Thai city, you have already cleared immigration where you entered Thailand, and you go straight to baggage claim.
Pickup zones: Grab picks up at a designated zone outside the arrivals hall. Ignore drivers who approach you inside the hall, and check the company name before you get in.

Domestic and international flights come out on the same floor of the same building, so give your flight number when you book and we will meet you at the right exit. Check the company name before you get in.
Chiang Mai Airport is about 4 km southwest of the city center. The drive to the Old City and Tha Phae Gate usually takes 10 to 20 minutes in light traffic, and Nimmanhaemin and the Night Bazaar are a similar short drive. Allow more time at rush hour and during Songkran in April and Yi Peng in November, when roads get busy.
Flights within Thailand arrive at the Domestic Terminal and international flights at the International Terminal. Both are wings of the same building and share the arrivals hall on the ground floor. Thai AirAsia and Thai VietJet Air use both, depending on where your flight comes from, so add your flight number when you book.
Yes. We drive you from Chiang Mai Airport to hotels and guesthouses inside and around the Old City moat, including the Tha Phae Gate area. Some lanes in the Old City are narrow or one-way, so give the exact property name and address when you book, and your driver will use the closest drop-off point to your door.
Yes. We take you door to door from the airport to hotels, condos and serviced apartments around Nimmanhaemin Road, the Night Bazaar and Chang Khlan, and along the Ping River. Add the building name and full address, including the soi number, when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right entrance.
Yes. We drive you from Chiang Mai Airport to resorts and villas in Mae Rim and the Mae Sa Valley, in Hang Dong south of the city, and up toward Doi Suthep. Mountain roads are winding, so give the exact property name and address when you book, along with any access details for private estates.
Chiang Rai and Pai are longer trips through the mountains north of Chiang Mai. Share the hotel name and full address when you book and we'll confirm the transfer; if the booking form shows no vehicle for your route, contact us before you fly. A private van gives you room for luggage and stops on the way if you need them.
Yes. Chiang Mai Airport is open 24 hours, and your pickup time follows the arrival of the flight on your reservation, whether you land after midnight or before dawn. Book in advance with your correct flight number, and your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall when you come out of baggage claim and customs.
We track the flight on your reservation and adjust the pickup to its real arrival time, so your driver waits for a delayed flight. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or you miss a connection in Bangkok and take a later flight, tell customer service as soon as you can so we can move or cancel your transfer.
Yes. Book a departure transfer from your hotel, condo or resort to Chiang Mai Airport and give us your flight time and whether it is domestic or international. Your driver drops you at the departures level of the right terminal. The airport is close to town, but festival traffic and hill-country resorts can add time, so allow for it.
