Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Curaçao International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Curaçao airport transfers start as you come out of the Arrivals Hall, where your driver waits with a name sign after passport control, baggage claim and customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and the price is fixed per vehicle and agreed before you fly. Choose a sedan for two or a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each Curaçao airport transfer goes door to door to your resort, hotel, apartment or vacation rental in Willemstad, along the south coast to Jan Thiel, or to the west of the island around Westpunt. Enter your address in the booking form to see the vehicles for your party before you pay.
Our Curaçao airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared minibus that stops at other resorts along the way. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases, dive gear and strollers, and suits families and groups heading to Willemstad, Jan Thiel or the west end villas.

Curaçao International Airport (CUR), also known as Hato Airport, is on the island's north coast and is run by Curaçao Airport Partners. Every flight uses one terminal, opened in late 2018, so all passengers arrive through the same hall.
Curaçao is outside the Schengen area, so everyone goes through passport control on arrival, including passengers from Amsterdam. Then you collect your bags at baggage claim and pass customs through the green or red channel into the Arrivals Hall, which has car rental counters and an ATM.
Curaçao is on Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4) all year, with no daylight saving time.
DI card. Every non-resident traveler must complete the free Digital Immigration Card online at dicardcuracao.com before arriving; it opens 7 days before departure. Avoid third-party sites that charge for it.
Not Schengen. Curaçao is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands but outside the Schengen area and the EU Entry/Exit System, so check the visa and passport rules for your nationality before you fly.
Guilders and dollars. The local currency is the Caribbean guilder (XCG), and US dollars and cards are widely accepted. The ATM in the Arrivals Hall dispenses dollars, euros and guilders.
Gated resorts and villas. Many resort and villa communities, such as Blue Bay, have gated entrances, so give the full address and villa or apartment number when you book.

The airport is at Hato, about 12 km (7.5 miles) from Willemstad's Punda and Otrobanda, usually around a 20-minute drive. Jan Thiel is on the far side of the city, and Westpunt is about 36 km (22 miles) away, roughly 40 minutes.
