After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Honolulu airport transfers start outside baggage claim at the terminal where your flight lands, Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and all international arrivals come out at Terminal 2 after US customs. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to a van for a family or group with luggage.
Each Honolulu airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel or condo in Waikiki, downtown or around Ala Moana, or to a resort or rental at Ko Olina on the west side. Going on to the North Shore? Our Honolulu airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared shuttle that stops at a string of Waikiki hotels first. It leaves as soon as you have your bags, with room for suitcases, strollers, surfboards and golf bags, and suits families, wedding groups and friends sharing a condo or villa.

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), known as Honolulu International Airport until 2017, is the main airport for Honolulu and the island of Oʻahu and the busiest in Hawaii. It sits northwest of downtown Honolulu, beside Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
There are three passenger terminals. Terminal 1 handles inter-island and mainland flights, Terminal 2 is the largest and the only one for international arrivals, and Terminal 3 is a smaller terminal on the Diamond Head side. If you fly in from outside the US, you clear US immigration and customs at Terminal 2 before collecting your bags. On flights from the mainland you fill in a Hawaii agriculture declaration form, and plants and fresh produce may be inspected.
Once you have your bags, pre-booked cars pick up at the signposted zone outside baggage claim. Hawaii is on Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (UTC-10) all year, with no daylight saving.
Agriculture declaration. Flights from the US mainland hand out a Hawaii agriculture form; declare any plants, fruit or seeds, which may be inspected.
US entry at Terminal 2. International arrivals clear US Customs and Border Protection at Terminal 2 and follow the usual US entry rules, including a visa or an approved ESTA for eligible nationalities.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Domestic flights use either terminal depending on the airline, so give your airline and terminal when you book.
No clock change. Hawaii does not use daylight saving time, so the time difference with the mainland changes during the year.

The airport is about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of downtown Honolulu, and Waikiki lies beyond downtown to the east. Traffic on the way into town is the main thing that sets the trip time.
