Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) stands at Yeadon, on high ground northwest of Leeds, and every flight uses its one terminal. A terminal extension opened in 2025 with a new arrivals area and baggage claim hall, and the older part of the building is being refurbished.
International flights arrive at UK passport control, run by Border Force; flights from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands are in the Common Travel Area and do not usually go through full passport checks. After baggage claim you take the green or red customs channel into the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
The UK is on GMT in winter and BST (GMT+1) from late March to late October, and it uses pounds sterling.
Entry to the UK. Unless you hold a British or Irish passport or a UK visa, you need an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before you travel, and that includes EU and US citizens. Apply online well before your trip.
Common Travel Area flights. Flights from Dublin, Belfast and the Channel Islands arrive without full passport control, but carry photo ID, because airlines ask for it.
Pickup parking lot. Only the official taxi partner collects on the terminal front. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and walks with you to the Pick Up & Drop Off parking lot, about a minute away.
Pounds sterling. The UK uses pounds sterling, and cards and contactless payments are accepted almost everywhere.

Yes. Book a pickup for the time your flight lands or a ride to the airport for an early departure. FLYER buses usually stop around 22:00, so a booked car is the easier option late at night.
There is no need. Booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and a meeting point before you land. If someone approaches you in arrivals, check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
