Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Madrid airport transfers start in the arrivals hall of the terminal where your flight lands, Terminal 4 for Iberia and the oneworld airlines or Terminals 1, 2 and 3 for most other airlines, and your driver waits there with a name sign. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to an SUV for a family or small group with luggage.
Each Madrid airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or office in the city, to the business district around Nuevos Ministerios and the Castellana, or to Atocha and Chamartín stations. For addresses in Madrid, the fare for each vehicle shows in the booking form before you pay. Going on to Toledo or Segovia? Our Madrid airport shuttle is a private car for your party only, not a shared bus that stops at other hotels along the way. Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) is the main airport for Madrid and the busiest in Spain, northeast of the city. It has two separate terminal areas: Terminals 1, 2 and 3 stand side by side and are linked on foot, while Terminal 4, used by Iberia, Air Nostrum and the oneworld airlines, is a separate building with its satellite, Terminal 4S.
If you land at T4S, a driverless train takes you to T4 for baggage claim. Flights from other Schengen countries arrive without passport checks; from outside the Schengen area, including the Americas and the UK, you queue at passport control, and queues can be long when several long-haul flights land in the morning. After baggage claim you pass customs into the arrivals hall of your terminal, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers, so confirm your arrival terminal when you book.
Spain is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October. It uses the euro.
Schengen entry. Spain is in the Schengen area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check the visa rules for your nationality before you fly.
Terminal 4 or Terminals 1–3. The two terminal areas are separate buildings, so give your airline and arrival terminal when you book; your driver waits at that terminal's arrivals hall.
Central Madrid addresses. Some streets in the historic center around Sol are pedestrian or closed to general traffic, so give your full address; your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
Euro and cards. Spain uses the euro, and cards and contactless payments are widely accepted.

Madrid-Barajas is about 13 km (8 miles) northeast of the city center at Puerta del Sol, and about 9 km from the business district around Nuevos Ministerios.
Iberia, Air Nostrum and the other oneworld airlines, including British Airways, American Airlines and Qatar Airways, use Terminal 4 and its satellite T4S. SkyTeam, Star Alliance and most other airlines use Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
T4S is the satellite of Terminal 4, used for many long-haul and non-Schengen flights. You take the driverless train to T4 for baggage claim and customs, and your driver meets you in the Terminal 4 arrivals hall.

Yes. Give the full street address, the apartment number and any entrance details. Where the street is pedestrian, as in parts of the historic center, your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
Yes. Metro Line 8 runs from Terminal 2 and Terminal 4 to Nuevos Ministerios, and Cercanías C-1 trains run from Terminal 4 to Chamartín and Atocha. A private transfer is easier with luggage, late at night or for addresses away from the stations.
