After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.

Vehicles range from sedans for couples to vans for families and groups, and every Malta airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or villa. Staying on Gozo? That trip crosses on the Gozo Channel ferry from Ċirkewwa. Our Malta airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, leaving as soon as you are through the Welcomers' Hall instead of stopping at other hotels. It has room for suitcases, dive gear and strollers, which suits families and groups heading to the resort areas.

Malta International Airport (MLA) in Luqa is the only airport in Malta and the gateway to the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino. All flights use a single terminal, with arrivals and departures on separate levels.
If you arrive from another Schengen country, there is no passport check and you walk straight to baggage claim. Flights from outside the Schengen Area, including the United Kingdom, go through passport control first. After collecting your luggage, you pass customs into the Welcomers' Hall, the public arrivals area.
Malta uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to UTC+2 for daylight saving time from late March to late October.
Schengen entry. Malta is in the Schengen Area, so flights from outside it, including from the United Kingdom, go through passport control. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation.
Staying on Gozo. Gozo is reached by ferry from Ċirkewwa to Mġarr. When you book, confirm whether your driver accompanies you on the ferry or meets you at Mġarr harbor.
Euro. Malta uses the euro, and contactless card payment is widely accepted.
Time zone. Malta uses Central European Time (UTC+1), moving to UTC+2 from late March to late October.
