After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
From MZT, transfers run north to the hotels of the Golden Zone and Las Gaviotas, to Old Mazatlán, the historic center and the Malecón, to the cruise port, and on along the coast to Marina Mazatlán, Cerritos, Nuevo Mazatlán and Emerald Bay.
Mazatlán airport transfers start at the arrivals exit: once you're through customs, walk past the taxi booth and sales desks and out the main doors, where your driver waits with your name. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you pay one fixed price per vehicle agreed before you fly, in sedans, SUVs or vans sized to your party and luggage.
Every Mazatlán airport transfer goes door to door, whether to a beachfront hotel in the Golden Zone, a condo on the Malecón, a restored house in Old Mazatlán, or a resort at Marina Mazatlán, Nuevo Mazatlán or Emerald Bay.
Our Mazatlán airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not one of the shared vans from the airport booth that wait to fill seats and stop at several hotels on the way. General Rafael Buelna International Airport (MZT), known to most travelers as Mazatlán International Airport, sits southeast of the city on Sinaloa's Pacific coast and is run by OMA. All flights use one two-story terminal: international flights, mainly from the United States and Canada, arrive at Satellite B, and domestic flights use Satellite A.
Arrivals are on the ground floor. On an international flight you reach Mexican immigration first, where your entry is recorded as a digital FMM, then collect your bags at baggage claim and go through customs into the arrivals hall, with its authorized taxi booth, transport desks and car-rental counters.
Mazatlán is on Mountain Standard Time (UTC−7) all year, one hour behind Mexico City, and uses the Mexican peso.
Passport and FMM. International visitors need a valid passport, plus a visa where their nationality requires one. Your entry is recorded at immigration as a digital FMM, which you can register online with Mexico's immigration institute before you fly, and you go through customs with Mexico's customs declaration.
One hour behind Mexico City. Sinaloa runs on Mountain Standard Time (UTC−7) all year. If you connect through Mexico City or Guadalajara, give your arrival time in Mazatlán local time when you book.
Gated resorts and condos. Many developments in Marina Mazatlán, Nuevo Mazatlán and Emerald Bay have a guarded entrance. Add the resort or building name, unit number and any gate instructions so your driver is let in.
Carnaval and the Malecón. During Carnaval, in the days before Ash Wednesday, parades and events close parts of the Malecón and Old Mazatlán, so allow for detours and give a full address.

The airport is about 16 km (10 miles) southeast of the city. Old Mazatlán and the historic center are around 20 to 30 minutes away, and the Golden Zone around 25 to 35 minutes. Marina Mazatlán, Cerritos and Nuevo Mazatlán, farther north, take about 35 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Copala and Concordia are in the hills inland from Mazatlán, and Teacapán is on the coast to the south. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us before you fly.
International flights from the United States and Canada use Satellite B, and domestic flights use Satellite A. Both lead to the same ground-floor arrivals hall, so your driver meets you at the same exit either way.
Yes. Enter the full address with the building name, unit number and any access instructions. Where a street in Old Mazatlán is narrow or closed to traffic, your driver stops at the nearest point a car can reach.
Transportation can be scheduled for late arrivals and early departures. Availability is confirmed through the booking system, so book ahead and give your exact flight times.
There is no need. Booking ahead gives you a confirmed vehicle and meeting point before you land. If people offer rides, tours or timeshare deals in the arrivals hall, keep walking to the exit and check the company name against your confirmation before getting in.
We monitor the flight on your reservation, so your driver waits for the actual landing. If your flight is canceled, or your flight number, date or airline changes, tell customer service so the pickup can be moved.
