Our Naples airport shuttle is a private van for your party only: it leaves as soon as you are through customs and goes straight to your hotel, with no change between bus, train and ferry. There is room for suitcases, so it suits families and groups heading to Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi.

Naples International Airport (NAP), also called Capodichino, lies in the Capodichino district north-east of the center of Naples, Italy, and is operated by GESAC. All flights use a single, compact terminal, Terminal 1.
If you arrive from outside the Schengen Area, you go through passport control first, where automated eGates serve eligible passports. You then collect your bags in the baggage hall and pass through customs into the arrivals area, a short walk from the exit.
Naples is on Central European Time (UTC+1) and moves to UTC+2 from late March to late October.
Entry rules. Italy is in the Schengen Area. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Check visa rules for your nationality before you travel.

Ferries to the islands. Ferries and hydrofoils to Capri and Ischia leave from the port of Naples, mainly Molo Beverello, with hydrofoils also from Mergellina. Check which pier your boat leaves from before you book.

Fixed taxi rates
Naples taxis have fixed rates to the central station and the ports, so confirm the fixed rate with the driver before setting off.
Euro currency
Italy uses the euro, and some cash is useful for buses, ferries and small purchases along the coast.

Naples uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and switches to daylight saving time (UTC+2) from late March to late October.
