Perth Airport (PER) is the main gateway to Western Australia, east of the Perth city center. It has four terminals in two precincts on opposite sides of the airfield: T1 and T2 together, and T3 and T4 together in the Qantas precinct. Most international flights and Virgin Australia use T1, Jetstar domestic and regional flights use T2, Qantas international flights use T3 and Qantas domestic flights use T4.
On an international arrival you clear immigration first, using SmartGates if your passport is eligible, then collect your bags and pass biosecurity and customs before entering the arrivals hall. Domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim.
