King Khalid International Airport (RUH) serves Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and lies north of the city. It has five passenger terminals, reassigned in February 2026: Terminal 1 handles international flights of flynas and flyadeal, Terminal 2 international flights of Saudia and Riyadh Air, Terminal 3 domestic flights of flynas, flyadeal and Riyadh Air, Terminal 4 Saudia domestic flights, and Terminal 5 the international flights of all foreign airlines. Terminals 1 to 4 sit side by side; Terminal 5 is a separate building.
On an international flight, follow the Arrivals signs to passport control, collect your bags in the baggage reclaim hall, where trolleys are free, and pass through customs into the arrivals hall. Domestic passengers go straight to baggage reclaim.
Riyadh is on Arabia Standard Time (UTC+3) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Visa and eVisa. Many nationalities can get a Saudi tourist eVisa online before travel or on arrival, and citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries can enter with their national ID. Check the rules for your nationality before you travel.
Passport validity. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from arrival.
Alcohol and dress. Alcohol may not be brought into Saudi Arabia. Visitors are expected to dress modestly in public, with shoulders and knees covered.
Ride-hailing pickup. App rides such as Uber and Careem pick up only at numbered columns on the arrival floor of each terminal, not at the curb in front of the doors.
Saudi riyal. Saudi Arabia uses the Saudi riyal (SAR), and cards and mobile payments are widely accepted.

King Khalid International Airport has five terminals, so give your airline and flight number when you book; we use them to send your driver to the right terminal and to follow your landing time.
The airport is about 35 km north of central Riyadh. The drive to Olaya, the King Abdullah Financial District or Al Malaz usually takes around 30 to 45 minutes, and longer at weekday rush hours. Diriyah, on the city's northwest edge, is a similar trip. Your driver picks the route on the day based on traffic.
It depends on your airline. Since February 2026, foreign airlines arrive at Terminal 5, Saudia international flights and Riyadh Air international flights at Terminal 2, flynas and flyadeal international flights at Terminal 1, Saudia domestic flights at Terminal 4, and flynas, flyadeal and Riyadh Air domestic flights at Terminal 3. Your flight number tells us which one.
Yes. We drive you door to door to hotels, serviced apartments and offices in Olaya, along King Fahd Road and in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). Give us the hotel name or the full building address when you book, and your driver goes straight to the right entrance after meeting you at your terminal.
Yes. Book a private transfer to your hotel or residence in Diriyah, near the At-Turaif district, or to the Boulevard City and Hittin area in north Riyadh. Share the hotel name or the full address when you book, so your driver heads straight there in a vehicle sized for your party and luggage.
Long-distance trips, such as to Al Qassim or across the border to Bahrain, depend on the vehicles and permits available for that route. Share the address when you book and we'll confirm whether we can take you, or contact us before you fly. Cross-border trips also require valid entry documents for every passenger.
Yes. Give the full address, the compound or building name, the villa or apartment number and any gate access details when you book. Many residential compounds in Riyadh have security gates, so your driver can reach you without delay when the details are correct and someone expects the car.
Yes. Pickups are available for flights landing at any hour, including late at night after the Riyadh Metro stops at midnight. Book in advance with your flight number, and your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal. Early-morning returns to the airport can be booked the same way.
We track the arrival of the flight on your reservation, so your driver adjusts to a delay. If your flight number, date, airline or arrival terminal changes, or your flight is canceled, tell customer service so we can move your pickup. A change of terminal matters at Riyadh, where the five terminals are in different buildings.
Yes. Book a return from your hotel, office or residence in Riyadh and give us your flight time and airline. We drop you at the right terminal, since Saudia, flynas, flyadeal, Riyadh Air and foreign airlines depart from different buildings, and your pickup leaves enough time for check-in and security.
No. Turn down rides offered inside the arrivals hall. Your pre-booked driver meets you in the arrivals hall of your terminal after customs; check the company name before you get in. Licensed taxis and app rides pick up only at marked ranks and numbered columns on the arrival floor.
It depends on your nationality. Citizens of many countries can get a Saudi tourist eVisa online before travel or on arrival, and citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries can enter with their national ID. Your passport should be valid for at least six months from arrival. Check the rules for your nationality with official Saudi sources before you fly.
Riyadh is on Arabia Standard Time, UTC+3, all year, with no daylight saving time. The Saudi weekend is Friday and Saturday, so business hours differ from many other countries. Set your pickup time in local time, on the clock of the airport.
