Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) is in Bao'an District on the Pearl River Delta shoreline, northwest of central Shenzhen. All passenger flights use Terminal 3, a single large building with a satellite concourse to the north reached by an automated people mover.
After landing, follow the signs to immigration on Level 2. Baggage reclaim and customs are on the same level, and the arrivals hall leads through covered walkways to the Ground Transportation Center, where drivers park.
Shenzhen runs on China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Arrival card. Foreign visitors must complete a China arrival card, online before the flight through the National Immigration Administration website, app or mini program, or on arrival.
Visa-free stays. Citizens of countries covered by China's 30-day visa-free policy, in force through 31 December 2026, can enter without a visa. Shenzhen airport is also a 240-hour visa-free transit port for eligible nationals with an onward ticket to a third country.
Address in Chinese. Many drivers do not speak English, so keep your hotel or office address in Chinese and add it to your booking.
Mobile payment. Set up Alipay or WeChat Pay with an international card before arrival, as they are used for most payments. The currency is the Chinese yuan (CNY).

The airport is about 32 km northwest of central Shenzhen. By car, Futian takes about 40 to 50 minutes, Nanshan Hi-Tech Park about 30 to 40 minutes and Luohu about 50 to 60 minutes, longer at peak hours.

We monitor the flight on your reservation, so a delay moves your pickup with it. If your flight number or date changes, tell customer service so the booking can be updated.
Yes. Book a departure from your hotel or address to SZX. All flights leave from Terminal 3, so your driver drops you at the same building.
