After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Airport transportation from Shuangliu takes you from Chengdu's close-in airport to hotels and homes around Chunxi Road and Tianfu Square, Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli, the Hi-Tech Zone, the giant panda base and on toward Leshan and Mount Emei.
Our Shuangliu airport transfers start in the arrivals hall of your terminal, Terminal 1 for Sichuan Airlines and flights from Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei, or Terminal 2 for most other domestic flights, where your driver meets you and walks with you to the car. We track your flight so the pickup follows your real landing time, and unlike a taxi line, your vehicle is already reserved when you land.

Our Shuangliu airport shuttle is a private minivan for your party only: it leaves as soon as you are through arrivals and goes straight to your address, with no stops for other passengers. There is room for suitcases and strollers, which suits families, business teams and groups arriving together in Chengdu.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) is the older of Chengdu's two airports, in Shuangliu District southwest of the city, and a hub for Sichuan Airlines and Air China. It has two passenger terminals: Terminal 1, used by Sichuan Airlines and home to the international hall for flights from Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei, and Terminal 2 for the domestic flights of most other airlines. Long-haul international flights use Chengdu Tianfu (TFU) instead.
On a domestic flight, collect your bags in baggage claim and walk straight into the arrivals hall. Arriving from Hong Kong, Macau or Taipei, go through border inspection at Terminal 1, show your passport and arrival card, collect your bags and pass through customs into arrivals.
Chengdu is on China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Check CTU or TFU. Chengdu has two airports. Make sure your ticket shows CTU (Shuangliu), and re-check if your airline changes the flight.
Visa or visa-free entry. Citizens of many countries can enter China visa-free for short stays, and eligible travelers can use visa-free transit to a third country; others need a visa before flying. Check the rules for your nationality before you travel.
Arrival card. Foreign visitors complete an arrival card for border inspection. Since November 2025 it can be filled in online through the National Immigration Administration's app or a WeChat or Alipay mini program, or on paper at immigration.
Customs. Declare cash and goods above China's duty-free allowances at the customs channel.
Mobile payment. Most payments are made with Alipay or WeChat Pay. Set one up with an international card before you fly and carry some Chinese yuan.
Ride-hailing pickups. Ride-hailing cars pick up at marked pickup points rather than at the terminal curb.

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall of the terminal you land at, after baggage claim, and after border inspection and customs if you arrive from Hong Kong, Macau or Taipei. Sichuan Airlines and those regional flights use Terminal 1, and most other domestic flights use Terminal 2, so give us your flight number when you book. Check the company name before you get in.
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is about 16 km southwest of downtown Chengdu. The drive to Tianfu Square, Chunxi Road and central hotels usually takes 30 to 40 minutes, longer at rush hour. Kuanzhai Alley is about 20 km away, and the Hi-Tech Zone, on the airport side of the city, is generally closer.
Check the three-letter code on your ticket. CTU is Shuangliu, about 16 km southwest of the center, and TFU is Tianfu, about 50 km southeast. Shuangliu handles mostly domestic flights and, since 30 July 2026, most flights to Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei. Yes. We drive you door to door to hotels, apartments and offices in central Chengdu, including Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, Tianfu Square, Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli. Give us the hotel name and full address when you book, and enter it in the booking form to see the vehicles available for your route.
Yes. The panda base is in the north of Chengdu, about 28 km from Shuangliu, and the drive usually takes around 45 minutes. Enter the panda base or your hotel near it in the booking form, and tell us when you book if you plan to visit straight from your flight with luggage.
Possibly. Leshan, Mount Emei, Dujiangyan and Qingcheng Mountain are longer trips outside Chengdu. Share the address of your hotel when you book: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us and we'll confirm whether we can take you.
Yes. You can book a pickup for any arrival time, including late-night flights after the metro has stopped and early-morning arrivals. Enter your flight number and arrival time when you book, and your driver is scheduled for that landing and follows your flight's real arrival time.
We track the arrival of the flight on your reservation, so your driver adjusts to a delay. If your flight number, date or airline changes, if your flight is canceled, or if it is moved to Tianfu (TFU), tell customer service so we can move or change your pickup.
Yes. Book a return from your hotel or home in Chengdu to Shuangliu and give us your flight time and terminal, Terminal 1 for Sichuan Airlines and flights to Hong Kong, Macau or Taipei, or Terminal 2 for most other domestic flights, so your pickup leaves enough time for the drive, check-in and security.
Yes, on request. The two airports are on opposite sides of Chengdu, so a connection between them means collecting your bags, crossing the city and checking in again. Share both flight numbers when you book and we'll confirm the pickup; leave a generous gap between your flights.
