Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Toncontín now handles Tegucigalpa's domestic flights from Roatán, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba and Puerto Lempira, and your driver takes you from there to your address in Tegucigalpa or Comayagüela.

It suits business travelers arriving from San Pedro Sula for meetings in the capital, families coming back from Roatán with beach luggage, and anyone landing in the evening who would rather have a ride arranged. We can also take you from your address in Tegucigalpa back to Toncontín, or on to Palmerola for an international departure.
Some Tegucigalpa hotels run their own airport shuttles on fixed schedules. Our private shuttle is a van booked for your group alone, which leaves when you come out and drops everyone at one address. It suits families, work teams and groups returning together from the Bay Islands.

Toncontín Airport (TGU), officially Teniente Coronel Hernán Acosta Mejía Airport, sits inside Tegucigalpa. Since December 2021 it handles domestic flights only; international flights to the capital land at Palmerola (XPL) near Comayagua.
Because every flight here is domestic, there is no immigration or customs on arrival. The terminal area is compact and baggage claim is quick on these short flights, so you reach the small arrivals exit within minutes of landing. Pre-booked drivers meet passengers just outside that exit.
Tegucigalpa keeps Central Standard Time (UTC−6) all year with no daylight saving time.

Immigration is handled at your first Honduran airport, usually Palmerola, San Pedro Sula or Roatán, since Toncontín has no international passenger flights.
