Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV), also called Trivandrum Airport, sits on the coast just west of the city, close to Shankumugham Beach, and is a base for Air India Express. It has two passenger terminals on opposite sides of the runway, each with its own road entrance: Terminal 1 handles domestic flights and Terminal 2 handles all international flights from the Gulf, Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
On an international arrival at Terminal 2, follow the Arrival signs to the immigration hall with your passport, visa and e-Arrival Card QR code ready. Baggage belts are shown on the screens (five carousels at Terminal 2, three at Terminal 1), then customs has a green channel for nothing to declare and a red channel for goods to declare.

Visa or e-Visa. Most foreign visitors need an Indian visa before travel. Nationals of many countries can apply online for an e-Visa at least four days before arrival, and Thiruvananthapuram is an authorized e-Visa entry airport. Your passport should have at least six months' validity and two blank pages.
e-Arrival Card. Foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must submit the digital e-Arrival Card, which replaced the paper form, within 72 hours before landing, through the Indian visa portal, the Bureau of Immigration website or the Su-Swagatam app. Keep the QR code ready for immigration. Indian citizens are exempt.
Customs. Use the green channel if you have nothing to declare and the red channel if you are carrying goods that need declaring. Declarations can also be made in advance through the ATITHI app.
Know your terminal. Domestic flights use Terminal 1 and international flights Terminal 2, on opposite sides of the runway, so give the right terminal when you book.
Ride-hailing pickups. Ola and Uber pick up from the curbside area outside each terminal, and app cabs are regulated by the state transport authorities.

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is on the coast west of the city, about 3.7 km in a straight line from the city center and the Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The road distance depends on your terminal, since each has its own entrance. Technopark is about 13 km away, and drive times vary with the time of day and city traffic.
Yes. Trivandrum is the older English name of Thiruvananthapuram, and both refer to the same airport, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, code TRV. Your ticket may show either name. What matters for your pickup is the terminal: Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights.
Yes. Kovalam beach is about 15 km south of the airport, usually a 25 to 35 minute drive depending on traffic. We drive you door to door to your hotel or Ayurveda resort in Kovalam; give us the full property name and address when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right entrance.
Yes. Varkala is about 55 to 60 km north of the airport, usually 1.5 to 2 hours by road. Give us the hotel name and full address in Varkala when you book, and choose a vehicle with room for your party and luggage for the longer drive.
Poovar is on the coast south of Kovalam, and Kanyakumari is across the state border in Tamil Nadu. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay. If it does not, share the address when you book and we'll confirm whether we can take you.
Yes. Technopark is about 13 km from the airport, and we drive you to hotels, apartments and campus offices in the Kazhakkoottam area. Give us the building or phase name and the full address when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right gate.
Yes. You can book a transfer for any arrival or departure time, including flights that land at Thiruvananthapuram late at night or in the early morning. Add your flight number when you book: we track the flight, so your pickup follows the real landing time rather than the schedule.
