General Leobardo C. Ruiz International Airport (ZCL), known as Zacatecas International Airport, sits in Calera de Víctor Rosales, about 17 km north of the city center. All flights use one passenger terminal with an international wing, and passengers walk between the aircraft and the building.
On flights from the United States, you clear immigration in the international wing, collect your bags and pass customs before walking out of arrivals.
Zacatecas sits at about 2,180 m, so take it easy on your first day. The city runs on Central Standard Time (UTC−6) all year.
