Airport Transfers
Private airport transportation from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) to hotels and addresses in Central, across Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, and on Lantau and in the New Territories.
Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Hong Kong International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our airport transportation in Hong Kong runs from Terminal 1 to hotels and homes in Central and across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories and Lantau Island with its theme parks.
Hong Kong airport transfers start in Arrivals Hall A or B at Terminal 1, where all flights arrive; your driver waits there, often with a name sign near the arrival screens. We track your flight, and the price is fixed per vehicle before you fly.
Choose a sedan for two, or an SUV or minivan for a family or a group with more bags, and ride door to door to your hotel, serviced apartment or office. Every Hong Kong airport transfer goes straight to the address on your booking.
Our Hong Kong airport shuttle is a private minivan for your party only, leaving as soon as you are through Arrivals Hall A or B. There is room for suitcases, strollers and shopping, which suits families and groups heading to Kowloon, Hong Kong Island or Lantau.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is built on reclaimed land at Chek Lap Kok, next to Lantau Island, and is the base of Cathay Pacific. Terminal 1 handles all arrivals and every boarding gate. Terminal 2 reopened on 27 May 2026 for departures only, for about 15 mainly short-haul airlines.
Hong Kong runs its own immigration, separate from mainland China. After immigration, collect your bags in the Baggage Reclaim Hall, then pass customs, using the red channel only if you have goods to declare. You come out into Arrivals Hall A or B, where pre-booked drivers wait.
Hong Kong runs on Hong Kong Time (UTC+8) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Separate entry rules. Hong Kong has its own visa rules. Many nationalities can enter visa-free for a set number of days, but check the rules for your passport before you fly. A Chinese mainland visa does not cover Hong Kong, and a Hong Kong entry does not cover the mainland.
No arrival card. Visitors have not needed to fill in an arrival card since 16 October 2024.
Crossing to Shenzhen or Macau. Going on to the mainland or Macau means clearing immigration again, so carry the right entry documents for where you are heading.
Departing from Terminal 2. HK Express, Hong Kong Airlines, Greater Bay Airlines and other regional airlines check in at Terminal 2. Give your departure terminal when you book a ride back to the airport.

We monitor the arrival of the flight on your reservation, but can't find you on a different one. Tell customer service if any of these change:
About one checked suitcase and one carry-on each; the right vehicle depends on the total volume. Tell us about golf clubs, surfboards, bikes, strollers or extra bags.
Request them when booking, with the child's age and size. Availability and any fee are confirmed on your reservation.
Give the wheelchair's size, weight and whether it folds, so a suitable vehicle is assigned.
Ask for authorization before booking and tell us about the animal and its carrier.
Separate entry rules
Hong Kong has its own visa rules and no arrival card, so a Chinese mainland visa does not cover Hong Kong and a Hong Kong entry does not cover the mainland.

Red taxis serve Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, green taxis the New Territories and blue taxis Lantau Island.
Hong Kong dollar
The local currency is the Hong Kong dollar (HKD), and an Octopus card pays for buses and other public transport.
