Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) sits just south of downtown, next to the Kentucky Exposition Center and close to Churchill Downs. It has one terminal with two concourses, A and B, and baggage claim on the lower level, so it's quick to get from the gate to the curb. The airport is also home to UPS Worldport, the company's global air hub.
Most flights are domestic. The airport is at its busiest around the Kentucky Derby on the first Saturday in May and during large shows at the Expo Center. Louisville is on Eastern time.
