Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is in Kenner, west of the city. It has one terminal, opened in 2019, with Concourses A, B and C behind a single security checkpoint, and baggage claim on the lower level.
International arrivals clear US immigration and customs inside the terminal before baggage claim. Summers are hot and humid, with afternoon thunderstorms that can delay flights, and hurricane season runs from June to November. New Orleans is on Central time.
