Reynosa International Airport (General Lucio Blanco, REX) sits about 10 km southeast of central Reynosa, close to the Texas border. All flights use one two-storey terminal, renovated in 2021; arrivals, baggage claim, the taxi stands and the car-rental counters are on the lower level.
All scheduled flights are domestic, so arriving passengers go straight to baggage claim without passing immigration.
Unlike most of Mexico, Reynosa changes its clocks for daylight saving time on the same dates as the United States, so it keeps the same time as McAllen all year.
Business addresses. For industrial parks and plants, add the company name, gate number and any visitor-access instructions so the driver can reach reception.
Time zone. Reynosa follows US daylight saving time, so in summer it can be an hour ahead of Mexico City. Give pickup times in local Reynosa time.
Continuing to Texas. If you are crossing to McAllen after your stay, carry your passport and US entry documents for the land crossing.
Ride offers at the terminal. Turn down unsolicited offers of transport and wait for the driver named in your confirmation.
