Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL) is the airport of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, on the eastern shore of Lake Ülemiste southeast of the city, and one of the home bases of airBaltic. All passenger flights use one terminal, with separate Schengen and non-Schengen gate areas.
If you arrive from a Schengen country, there is no passport control and you walk straight to baggage claim. Flights from outside the Schengen Area go through passport control, where non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System and eligible EU and Schengen citizens can use e-gates. Collect your bags, pass customs and continue into the Arrivals hall.
Tallinn is on Eastern European Time (UTC+2), moving to UTC+3 from late March to late October.
Schengen entry. Estonia is in the Schengen Area. Check whether your nationality needs a Schengen visa, and carry a passport valid for at least three months after you plan to leave the Schengen Area and issued within the last ten years.
Entry/Exit System. Non-EU travelers on short stays are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) on arrival from outside Schengen, with a facial image and fingerprints.
Customs. Arrivals from outside the EU are subject to EU customs limits on alcohol, tobacco and cash, and the Tax and Customs Board makes random checks. Check the limits before you fly.
Taxi pickup zones. Partner taxis wait in front of the terminal; taxis from other companies may only stop in the Kiss&Fly area of the parking house.
Euro. Estonia uses the euro, and cards and contactless payments are widely accepted.

Tallinn Airport is about 4 to 5 km southeast of the city center, on the shore of Lake Ülemiste. The drive to the Old Town or the city center usually takes 15 to 20 minutes, a little longer at weekday rush hours. The Old City Harbour, the Rotermann Quarter and Kadriorg are all a short ride across town.
Yes. We drive you to hotels, apartments and guesthouses in and around the Old Town, the Rotermann Quarter and the city center. Parts of the Old Town have narrow, cobbled streets with limited car access, so give us the full address or hotel name when you book and your driver will take you to the nearest point the car can reach.
Yes. If you are continuing by ferry to Helsinki or Stockholm, we can drive you from the airport to the Old City Harbour. Tell us your ferry company and departure time when you book, so your driver takes you to the right terminal building with time to check in.
Pärnu and Tartu are a longer drive from the airport, and Riga is across the border in Latvia. Enter the address in the booking form: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay. If it does not, share the address when you book and we'll confirm.
Yes. We drive door to door to hotels, homes and offices in Kadriorg, along the coast in Pirita, in Kalamaja and Telliskivi, and in the Ülemiste City business district next to the airport. Give us the full address, building name and any entrance details when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right door.
Yes. Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport is the official name of Tallinn Airport (TLL), the main airport of Estonia, named after the former Estonian president in 2009. It was earlier called Tallinn Ülemiste Airport. If your ticket shows the code TLL, this is the airport where your driver meets you.
