Aeroméxico is the flag carrier of Mexico, founded on 14 September 1934 and headquartered in Mexico City. It is one of the four founding members of the SkyTeam alliance and works closely with Delta Air Lines, which holds a stake in the group, under a joint cooperation agreement on routes between Mexico and the United States.

Its main hub is Mexico City International Airport, with secondary hubs in Guadalajara and Monterrey. From there it serves around 100 destinations in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. Regional flights are operated by its subsidiary Aeroméxico Connect.

The mainline fleet is built around the Boeing 737 for domestic and regional routes and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for long-haul flights.
