Buenos Aires Airport (BAI, ICAO MRBA) is a small public airstrip in the town of Buenos Aires, head of the canton of the same name in Puntarenas Province, southern Costa Rica. It has one concrete runway of about 960 meters at roughly 370 meters above sea level, with mountains to the northwest through east. This is Buenos Aires in Costa Rica, not the capital of Argentina.
No scheduled airline flies here, so arrivals are private or charter flights. There is no terminal building with immigration or customs: international travelers enter Costa Rica first at an international airport, most often Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) near San José. No designated pickup area is documented at the airstrip.
