Aeropuerto de Buenos Aires a Downtown Buenos Aires

Downtown Buenos Aires is the heart of Argentina's capital, known for its wide avenues, tango, steakhouses and neighborhoods that each feel like a small city of their own. Most visitors arriving at Ezeiza stay in one of a handful of central districts.

Palermo is the largest and liveliest, with parks, restaurants, bars and boutique hotels. Recoleta is home to the Recoleta Cemetery, grand avenues and museums. San Telmo keeps cobbled streets, antique shops and a Sunday street market, while Puerto Madero lines the old docks with modern towers and riverside restaurants. The Microcentro around the Obelisco and Avenida 9 de Julio holds Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada and the Teatro Colón.

Each district has its own mix of hotels and short-term apartments, so it is worth knowing which neighborhood your address is in before you land.

Your driver meets you in the Terminal A arrivals hall at Ezeiza, just outside the customs exit, with a sign bearing your name, and walks you to the car at the lettered pickup points outside the terminal. We follow your flight, so the pickup moves with your real landing time.

The transfer into downtown Buenos Aires follows the highway from Ezeiza toward the city, then the avenues to your neighborhood. Your driver takes you door to door to your hotel, apartment or office in Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, the Microcentro around the Obelisco or anywhere else in the city. Give the full street address when you book, including the apartment building name if you are staying in a short-term rental.
