Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG) is the main airport of Chongqing, north of the city center in Liangjiang New Area, and a hub for Sichuan Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Chongqing Airlines. Every passenger flight uses Terminal 3: Terminal 3A has check-in, baggage claim, the arrivals halls and all international flights, and the Terminal 3B satellite adds domestic gates linked to 3A by an underground people mover. Terminal 2 has no flights.
On an international flight, or one from Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan, follow the Arrivals signs in Terminal 3A to immigration, show your passport and arrival card, collect your bags and pass through customs into the international arrivals hall. Domestic passengers landing at a 3B gate ride the people mover back to Terminal 3A for baggage claim and the domestic arrivals hall.

Visa or visa-free entry. Citizens of many countries can enter China visa-free for short stays, and Chongqing is a port for 240-hour visa-free transit for eligible travelers going on to a third country; others need a visa before flying. Check the rules for your nationality before you travel.
Arrival card. Foreign visitors complete an arrival card for immigration. Have your passport and the address where you are staying ready.
Customs. Declare cash and goods above China's duty-free allowances at the customs channel.
Mobile payment. Most payments are made with Alipay or WeChat Pay. Set one up with an international card before you fly and carry some Chinese yuan.
Ride-hailing pickups. Ride-hailing cars do not stop at the terminal curb; they pick up in numbered bays in the Terminal 3 parking structure.

International flights come out into the international arrivals hall and domestic flights into the domestic one, so give us your flight number when you book. Your confirmation names the meeting point; check the company name before you get in.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is about 20 to 25 km north of Jiefangbei, the downtown core in Yuzhong. The drive to Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and central hotels usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic and your exact address. Chongqing North railway station and Guanyinqiao, on the airport side of the rivers, are generally closer.
Every passenger flight now arrives at Terminal 3. International flights use Terminal 3A, and domestic flights park at Terminal 3A or at the Terminal 3B satellite, whose passengers ride a people mover back to 3A for baggage claim. Terminal 2 has had no flights since December 2025, so your driver always meets you in Terminal 3A.
Yes. We drive you door to door to hotels, apartments and offices in Yuzhong, including Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and Chaotianmen. Give us the hotel name and full address when you book, and enter it in the booking form to see the vehicles available for your route.
Yes. Many Yangtze cruises board in central Chongqing, around Chaotianmen. Give us the name of your cruise ship and the pier or dock address from your cruise documents when you book, so your driver goes to the right entrance. If you have a lot of luggage, choose a larger vehicle in the booking form.
Ciqikou Ancient Town is within the city, so yes. Wulong Karst and the Dazu Rock Carvings are longer trips outside central Chongqing. Share the address of your hotel when you book: when a vehicle is available for that route, the price shows before you pay; if it does not, contact us and we'll confirm whether we can take you.
Yes. You can book a pickup for any arrival time, including late-night flights after Metro Line 10 has stopped running and early-morning arrivals. Enter your flight number and arrival time when you book, and your driver will be scheduled for that landing and wait in the Terminal 3A arrivals hall.
We track the arrival of the flight on your reservation, so your driver adjusts to a delay. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled, tell customer service so we can move your pickup. A gate change between Terminal 3A and 3B does not change the meeting point.
Yes. Book a return from your hotel or home in Chongqing to Terminal 3 and give us your flight time, so your pickup leaves enough time for the drive, check-in and security. If your gate is in Terminal 3B, allow about 20 extra minutes after security for the people mover and the walk to the gate.
Chongqing Jiangbei (CKG) is the airport that serves central Chongqing, but its older terminals are no longer used for flights. Terminal 1 closed in 2017, and Terminal 2 has had no flights since December 2025. Always go to Terminal 3, and ignore the Line 3 metro station named Airport Terminal 2.
