Pre-booked private transportation takes you directly from Don Mueang International Airport to your hotel, resort or vacation rental.
After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the meeting area named in your confirmation. Your vehicle is reserved only for the passengers on your reservation: unlike a shared shuttle, it makes no extra hotel stops for other travelers, and the price is per vehicle, not per person.
Our Don Mueang airport transportation takes you from Bangkok's northern airport to hotels and condos around Chatuchak, Khao San Road and the old town, Sukhumvit and Silom, across the city to Suvarnabhumi, or north to Ayutthaya.
Our Don Mueang airport transfers start in the arrivals hall on Level 1, after customs: Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic ones. Your driver meets you at the point named in your confirmation, and we track your flight so the pickup follows your real landing time. Unlike the taxi line at Gate 8, your car is already booked for you.

Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is in the north of Bangkok and is a different airport from Suvarnabhumi (BKK). It has two terminals joined by an elevated walkway: international flights arrive at Terminal 1 and domestic flights at Terminal 2. Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air and Nok Air use both, depending on whether your flight is international or domestic.
On an international arrival, follow the Arrivals signs to immigration, then collect your bags in the baggage claim hall and pass through customs into the arrivals hall on Level 1. Domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim in Terminal 2. SIM card booths, currency exchange counters and ATMs are in the arrivals area.
Bangkok is on Indochina Time (UTC+7) all year, with no daylight saving time.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): Foreign visitors must complete the free TDAC at tdac.immigration.go.th within 72 hours before arrival. It replaced the paper TM.6 card.
30-day visa exemption: Since 15 September 2026, travelers from eligible countries can enter visa-free for up to 30 days, and some nationalities need a visa or a visa on arrival. Check the rule for your passport, and keep proof of funds handy in case immigration asks.
Two Bangkok airports: Don Mueang (DMK) and Suvarnabhumi (BKK) are separate airports. This page books pickups at DMK only.
Pickup zones: Grab picks up at Terminal 1, Level 1, Gates 3 to 4, and Terminal 2, Level 1, Gates 11 to 14. Since March 2026 the airport has limited unauthorized vehicles waiting in front of the terminals, so ignore drivers who approach you inside the hall.

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall on Level 1, after customs, at the meeting point named in your confirmation. International flights arrive at Terminal 1 and domestic flights at Terminal 2, so give your flight number when you book and we will meet you at the right terminal. Ignore anyone offering rides inside the hall and check the company name before you get in.
Check the three-letter code on your ticket. DMK is Don Mueang, in the north of Bangkok, used mainly by Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air and Nok Air. BKK is Suvarnabhumi, east of the city. This page books pickups at Don Mueang only. If you land at Suvarnabhumi, book on our Bangkok airport transportation page instead.
Don Mueang is about 23 km north of the Grand Palace in a straight line. The drive to central Bangkok takes about 35 minutes in light traffic, and it can take much longer at rush hour or in heavy rain. Chatuchak is close to the airport, while Sukhumvit, Silom and the riverside are further south, so allow extra time in the evening.
International flights arrive at Terminal 1 and domestic flights within Thailand arrive at Terminal 2. Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air and Nok Air use both terminals, depending on where your flight comes from. Add your flight number when you book, and your driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall of the terminal your flight uses.
Yes. We drive you from Don Mueang to hotels and guesthouses around Khao San Road, Rattanakosin and the Chao Phraya riverside. Some lanes in the old town are narrow or closed to cars, so give the exact property name and address when you book and your driver will use the nearest drop-off point.
Yes. We take you door to door from Don Mueang to hotels, serviced apartments and condos in Sukhumvit, Silom, Sathorn, Pratunam and around Chatuchak. Add the building name and full address, including the soi number, when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right entrance.
Yes. Book a transfer with Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) as your drop-off and give us your onward flight time. The two airports are on opposite sides of Bangkok and traffic between them can be heavy, so leave plenty of time between flights. Your driver takes you to the departures level for your airline.
Ayutthaya lies north of Don Mueang, and we drive there from the airport. Pattaya and Hua Hin are longer trips across or beyond the city. Share the hotel name and full address when you book and we'll confirm the transfer; if the booking form shows no vehicle for your route, contact us before you fly.
Yes. Your pickup time follows the arrival of the flight on your reservation, whether you land at Don Mueang after midnight or before dawn. Book in advance with your correct flight number, and your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall when you come out of customs.
We track the flight on your reservation and adjust the pickup to its real arrival time, so your driver waits for a delayed flight. If your flight number, date or airline changes, or your flight is canceled or rerouted to Suvarnabhumi, tell customer service as soon as you can so we can move or cancel your transfer.
Yes. Book a departure transfer from your hotel or condo to Don Mueang and give us your flight time and whether it is international or domestic. Your driver drops you at the departures level of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. The airport advises arriving at least two hours before departure, and Bangkok traffic can add time.
