Itami airport transfers start in the arrivals area on the side of the terminal where your flight lands, the North side for Japan Airlines or the South side for ANA and IBEX Airlines, and your driver waits there with a name sign. We track your flight, so the pickup follows your real landing time, and you choose the vehicle for your party, from a sedan for two to a minivan for a family or small group with luggage.
Each Itami airport transfer goes door to door to your hotel, apartment or office in Umeda, Shin-Osaka, Namba or Shinsaibashi, or to Universal Studios Japan. Our Itami airport shuttle is a private car or van for your party only, not a shared bus that stops at several hotels and stations on the way into Osaka. Osaka Itami Airport (ITM) is Osaka's domestic airport, mainly in the city of Itami in Hyōgo Prefecture, north of central Osaka. Its official Japanese name is still Osaka International Airport, but it has domestic flights only; Osaka's international flights use Kansai International Airport (KIX), on an island in Osaka Bay. ANA and Japan Airlines both use Itami as a hub, with flights to Tokyo, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa and many other Japanese cities.
All flights use one terminal: the North side serves Japan Airlines and the South side serves ANA and IBEX Airlines, with shops, restaurants and a hotel in the central block between them. As every flight is domestic, there is no immigration or customs: from the gate you follow the signs to baggage claim on your airline's side and out to the arrivals area, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
Japan is on Japan Standard Time (UTC+9) all year, with no daylight saving time, and uses the yen.
Itami, not Kansai. Osaka has two airports. This page books rides from Itami (ITM), which has domestic flights only; if you are flying in from abroad, you will almost always land at Kansai (KIX), so book on our Kansai page.
Osaka International is Itami. The airport's official name is Osaka International Airport, and since January 2025 its English name is Osaka Itami Airport; a ticket showing either name, or the code ITM, means this airport.
Hotel addresses. Many Osaka addresses use district and block numbers rather than street names, so give your hotel's name and full address, in Japanese too if you have it.

Yes. The Osaka Monorail connects with trains into the city at stations such as Hotarugaike and Senri-Chūō, and airport limousine buses run to Umeda, Namba, Kobe and Kyoto. A private transfer is easier with luggage or for addresses away from the bus stops and stations.
