Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is the largest and busiest airport in Serbia. Named after the famed inventor Nikola Tesla, the airport serves as the primary international gateway to the country. Located approximately 18 kilometers (11 miles) west of the city center, the airport handles over 6 million passengers annually and is a hub for Air Serbia.
The airport features one main terminal divided into sections, with modern facilities including duty-free shops, restaurants, cafes, currency exchange counters, car rentals, and free Wi-Fi. Ongoing upgrades aim to enhance the traveler experience, with improved infrastructure and expanded services.
