Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, known as Puerto Vallarta International Airport, serves Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and the neighbouring Riviera Nayarit. It sits about 1 km north of Marina Vallarta, around 15–25 minutes from downtown and the Romantic Zone.

Operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), PVR handled about 6.9 million passengers in 2025, making it Mexico's eighth-busiest airport. It has scheduled service from across Mexico, the United States and Canada, and TAR Aerolíneas uses it as a focus city.

The current terminal has two concourses: Concourse A for domestic flights and Concourse B, a satellite building, for international flights. A new terminal of more than 68,000 square metres, designed for over 4.5 million passengers a year, is under construction and is expected to open in 2027.
