Iberia is the flag carrier of Spain, founded on 28 June 1927 and headquartered in Madrid. Since 2011 it has been part of International Airlines Group (IAG) together with British Airways, Aer Lingus and Vueling, and it has been a member of the oneworld alliance since 1999.

Its hub is Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, from which Iberia serves more than 100 destinations in Spain, Europe, North Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. It is the leading European airline between Europe and Latin America, with routes to Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

Iberia flies an all-Airbus fleet and was the worldwide launch customer of the long-range Airbus A321XLR. Its low-cost subsidiary Iberia Express flies short- and medium-haul routes, and Air Nostrum operates regional flights under the Iberia Regional brand.
