Nashville International Airport (BNA) serves Nashville and Middle Tennessee. It sits in southeast Nashville, about 8 miles from downtown, and handled about 25.7 million passengers in 2025. It opened in 1937 as Berry Field, which is why its code is BNA.

Nashville has one terminal, so baggage claim and ground transportation are in the same building whichever gate you arrive at.
If you arrive on an international flight, you clear US Customs and Border Protection in Concourse T before baggage claim. If you are eligible, Global Entry or Mobile Passport Control can shorten the line.
Domestic passengers go straight to baggage claim.
Taxis and ride apps pick up at the Ground Transportation Center on Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2, and the WeGo Route 18 bus runs to downtown. If you booked a private transfer, follow the meeting point in your confirmation. Crowds and ride lines grow on big event and concert weekends.
A pre-booked driver meets you at the terminal and takes you downtown, to the Gulch, Music Row, Franklin or Murfreesboro. Handy on busy event weekends.
