Where will my driver meet me at Cancun Airport?

Your confirmation names the meeting point for your terminal. After immigration, baggage claim and customs, continue outside the terminal to the designated transportation area and look for the Airport Transportation representative. Representatives can't enter the baggage-claim or customs areas.

Are meeting points different at Terminals 2, 3 and 4?

Your confirmation gives the meeting instructions for the terminal your flight arrives at. Check the terminal on your ticket when you book.

How long is the transfer from Cancun Airport to the Hotel Zone?

About 20–35 minutes, depending on traffic and where your hotel sits along Boulevard Kukulcán. Downtown Cancún is about 25–35 minutes.

How long does it take to reach Playa del Carmen or Tulum?

About 45–70 minutes to Playa del Carmen and 90–120 minutes to Tulum. Times change with traffic, weather, roadwork and the exact location of your hotel.

Can I book transportation to the Isla Mujeres or Cozumel ferry?

Yes. The Puerto Juárez terminal for Isla Mujeres is about 30–45 minutes from the airport. For Cozumel, book to the ferry terminal you are sailing from.

Do you serve Playa Mujeres and Costa Mujeres?

Yes. Both are resort areas north of Cancún: Playa Mujeres is about 40–60 minutes from the airport and Costa Mujeres about 45–65 minutes.

What if immigration or baggage claim takes longer than expected?

The team monitors your flight, not your time in the terminal. If you are held up for a long time after customs, contact customer service so they know you are still on your way.

How much does Cancun Airport Transportation cost?

Private van transportation starts from $44 USD one way to Downtown Cancún and the Cancún Hotel Zone. The price depends on the destination, the vehicle category and whether the reservation is one way or round trip.

Is the transportation private?

Yes. The transportation on this page is reserved exclusively for the passengers on your booking. It is not shared with unrelated travelers.

How many passengers can travel in one vehicle?

Private vans take up to six passengers, luxury and premium SUVs up to five, and group vans up to 12. Luggage volume may reduce the practical passenger capacity.

Is service available 24 hours?

Transportation can be scheduled for late-night and early-morning arrivals and departures. Availability must be confirmed through the booking system.

Can I book transportation to an Airbnb or vacation rental?

Yes, provided the property can be reached safely by the selected vehicle. Enter the complete address and any access instructions when booking.

What happens if my flight is cancelled?

Contact customer service as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. Rebooking, cancellation and refund conditions depend on the reservation policy.

Is Airport Transportation the same as Cancun International Airport?

No. Airport Transportation is an independent transportation-booking service and is not the airport operator, an airline or a government authority. For terminal, airline, immigration and facility information, see the Cancún International Airport page.

Are prices per person or per vehicle?

Prices on our website are per vehicle, not per person, based on a range of passengers.

What payment methods are accepted?

PayPal is our main payment method; a cash option is also available when booking through our website. Credit cards are accepted through PayPal.

Is my reservation refundable?

Yes. Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your pick-up and you are refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service are not refundable.

What currencies are accepted?

All prices are in USD. Via PayPal you can pay in almost any currency; cash payments accept USD only.
