Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (CEQ) is a business and general aviation airport serving Cannes, France, on the French Riviera. It has no scheduled airline service. Traffic is made up of private jets, helicopters, light aircraft, pilot training, and firefighting and emergency flights. The airport recorded 12,705 business aviation departures and arrivals in 2024.
Its operator, Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur, describes it as France's second business aviation airport and a complement to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), which handles the region's scheduled flights. Most travelers with airline tickets fly into Nice, about 25 km away in a straight line; the drive from Nice airport to Cannes takes 30 to 45 minutes.
There is one small terminal for passengers and crews. The runways take light and midsize jets, with a maximum takeoff weight of 35,000 kg, so larger aircraft use Nice.
The airport sits about 5 km west of central Cannes, beside Mandelieu-la-Napoule, with road access from the A8 motorway at exit 41. From here, travelers head to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Saint-Tropez.

If your private flight arrives from outside the Schengen area, you clear French passport control and customs at the airport. Non-EU travelers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), fully operational since 10 April 2026; the planned ETIAS travel authorization is not yet in operation. Flights from within Schengen normally have no passport checks.
The terminal is small, so the walk from the aircraft to the curb is short and bags come off the aircraft and through the building quickly. Your handling agent or FBO can coordinate customs and baggage for you.
Outside, there is a taxi rank, Europcar and Hertz car rental, and free parking just steps from the terminal, where pre-booked chauffeurs wait. The airport closes in the evening, between 20:00 and 22:00 depending on the season, so late arrivals should be planned with the operator.
The Riviera has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. France uses the euro and is on Central European Time (UTC+1), moving to UTC+2 in summer.
Most passengers on private flights are met by a pre-arranged chauffeur or take a taxi into Cannes, 10 to 20 minutes away.
Taxis use the rank outside the terminal. The ride to central Cannes takes about 10 to 20 minutes, though traffic is heavy during festivals and events.
Pre-booked chauffeurs wait at the terminal and can drive to Monaco in about 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, or to Saint-Tropez in 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours. It must be arranged in advance.
Europcar and Hertz serve the airport, and the A8 motorway is reached at exit 41. Parking in central Cannes and Saint-Tropez can be hard in summer.
Helicopter transfers can be arranged to Monaco, Saint-Tropez and along the Riviera; the flight to Saint-Tropez takes about 20 to 25 minutes. Flights depend on weather and must be booked ahead.
The airport can be reached by sea through Port Abri du Béal nearby, useful for yacht guests. It needs coordination with the port and your handling agent.

Yes. Cannes-Mandelieu Airport has a taxi rank at the terminal. The ride to central Cannes takes about 10 to 20 minutes in normal traffic. The airport's own access information lists road, taxi, car rental and boat access, with no dedicated airport bus or train service. The local Palm Bus network serves Cannes and Mandelieu-la-Napoule, but with luggage a taxi or a pre-arranged car is usually simpler. Cannes railway station is in the city center, about 5 km east.
The airport lists a taxi rank but no rideshare pickup area.
