Terminal
One small terminal for all flights; a larger new terminal is planned.
Also known as: Paros Airport, Panteleou Paros Airport.
PAS · LGPA · Paros

Paros National Airport (PAS), also called Panteleou Paros Airport, is the airport for the island of Paros in the Cyclades, Greece. It sits in the southwest of the island, about 10 km (6 miles) from the main port and town, Parikia. It handled about 205,000 passengers in its latest reported year.
The current airport opened in July 2016, replacing the old Paros airport, with a longer runway that can take larger aircraft. Most flights are short hops to Athens, mainly with Olympic Air and Sky Express, and in 2018 Smartwings became the first airline to fly regular medium-sized jets to Paros.
All flights use a small terminal. A new, larger terminal is planned, and a runway extension to about 1,800 m is under consideration.
From the airport, most visitors head to Parikia, to Naoussa in the north, to the beaches and villages of the south coast, or to Pounta for the short ferry to Antiparos.

Most flights to Paros come from Athens, which is inside the Schengen area, so there is usually no passport control. You leave the aircraft and walk or take a short bus ride to the small terminal, where baggage claim is quick.
Outside, taxis can take you to any part of the island, and a bus runs from the nearby bus station to Parikia. Rental cars are another option. Pre-booked drivers usually meet you outside arrivals.
If you are continuing to Antiparos, the short car ferry leaves from Pounta, south of the airport, and the passenger boats from Parikia.
In summer, Paros is often windy, which can affect small aircraft and ferries, so allow some flexibility in your plans.
Greece is on Eastern European Time (EET), two hours ahead of the UK, and uses the euro.
Taxis and pre-booked cars are the main options; buses are limited.
Taxis serve every part of the island from the airport. Parikia is about 10 km away.
A pre-booked car meets you outside arrivals, useful for Naoussa, villas and onward ferries.
A bus runs to Parikia from the nearby bus station. Cheap, but limited.
Rental cars and scooters are popular for exploring the island.
