Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (ASU) is the main airport of Asunción, Paraguay's capital, although it sits in the neighboring city of Luque, beside Ñu Guasú Park. All domestic and international flights use one terminal with two concourses: the south concourse (gates 1–4) and the north concourse (gates 5–6), whose arrivals hall was expanded in 2023.
You clear immigration first, then collect your bags and pass customs in the same building, so the walk from the gate to the exit is short. The terminal has one arrivals exit into the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers wait.

Entry documents. Bring a valid passport and check whether your nationality needs a visa. Citizens of Mercosur countries can enter Paraguay with their national ID card.

Year-round time. Paraguay stopped changing its clocks in 2024 and stays on UTC−3 all year, so keep this in mind when you set the time of a return pickup.
