Our Athens airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, not a shared bus that stops at other hotels along the way. Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) is the main airport for Athens and the busiest in Greece, at Spata in Attica, east of the city. It has a main terminal and a satellite terminal, used mostly by low-cost airlines and linked to the main building by an underground passage with moving walkways.
In the main terminal, Hall B handles domestic and Schengen flights, which arrive with no passport checks. Hall A handles flights from outside the Schengen area, such as the UK, the US or the Middle East, and there you queue at passport control. After baggage reclaim, follow the signs into the arrivals hall, where pre-booked drivers meet passengers.
Greece is on Eastern European Time (EET), two hours ahead of the UK, and uses the euro.
