Beirut Airport Transfers

Book your Beirut airport transfer before you fly and your driver waits outside the arrivals exit on the ground level, holding a sign with your name. Your flight is tracked, so the pickup follows your actual landing time.

Choose a sedan for couples or a van for families and groups, and ride door to door to your hotel, apartment or family home in Beirut or along the coast to Jounieh, Byblos and Batroun.

Beirut Airport Shuttle

Our Beirut airport shuttle is a private van for your party only, leaving as soon as you have your bags, with no other passengers to wait for. It suits families visiting relatives, wedding guests and groups heading to Jounieh, Byblos or Batroun with plenty of luggage.

Landing at Beirut Airport

Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) is Lebanon's main airport, in Beirut's southern suburbs near the Mediterranean coast, and the hub of Middle East Airlines. All flights use one U-shaped terminal, with an East Wing and a West Wing joined through the central building.

After landing you go to General Security passport control, where many nationalities receive a visa on arrival. Then you collect your bags in the baggage hall and pass through customs. A SIM card shop is on the right after you exit arrivals, and pre-booked drivers wait outside the arrivals exit on the ground level.

Lebanon uses Eastern European Time (UTC+2) and moves to UTC+3 in summer.

Entry requirements and local notes

  • Visa on arrival: Many nationalities, including US, UK, Canadian, Australian and EU citizens, receive a free one-month visa on arrival at passport control. Check the entry rules for your passport before you fly.
  • Dollars and pounds: US dollars are widely used in Lebanon alongside the Lebanese pound, so small dollar notes are handy for tips and small purchases.
  • Addresses by landmark: Many Beirut addresses are given by building name and nearby landmark rather than street number, so add the building name, floor and a contact number when you book.
  • Summer clock change: Lebanon moves from UTC+2 to UTC+3 for daylight saving time in summer, so check your pickup time against local time.
