Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) is in Ladyville, north-west of Belize City. It has one terminal, so immigration, baggage claim and customs are quick to find, and small planes to San Pedro, Caye Caulker and other towns leave from the same airport.
Queues at immigration can build when several flights from the US land around midday. English is the official language, and US dollars are widely accepted alongside the Belize dollar. Belize is on Central time all year, with no daylight saving.
