European Union Countries
France has been part of the European Union since 1958, so citizens from the following Schengen countries can enter France with a valid ID card or passport:

For stays shorter than 90 days, nationals of the following countries only need a valid passport to travel to France:

Language
As in the rest of France, the official language in Paris is French. Unlike other countries, English is not widely spoken, although in tourist areas you will find people who speak it. Learning a few basic French words or phrases is always a great idea to enhance your experience.
Currency
EURO, France currency
As you probably know, both in Paris and in most European countries, the euro (€) is the official currency. You can pay easily with a credit card, but if you prefer cash, U.S. dollars are not accepted.
There are many exchange offices across Paris. For small amounts, any will do, but if you plan to exchange a larger sum, the best rates can be found near Gare de l’Est Station.
The rates are usually official, with minimal differences of just a few cents. One recommended option is Cen Change, located about 100 meters from the train station — they offer good rates and no extra commission.

Trains run every 8 minutes and cost about €10 per ticket, offering a fast and affordable connection to downtown.
