Just so you know, we are writing this blog post to compare the websites that are ranked on Google for the Keyword “Airport Transportation” which would be our competitors.

You see, Airport Transportation is a company created online and we have been Optimizing websites in the past to make them rank in the first positions of Google and the different search engines around the web.Our goal is to make AirportTransportation.com rank the highest not only for the main Keyword “Airport Transportation” but of course for the main airport transportation keywords around the world, by destination and by service. In order to rank for our main keyword we have to analyze our competition and for that we use different tools, like Google Search Console, Google Ads (to check the amount of searches per keyword) and others like AHREFS that helps us compare to other sites online.

And nowadays we not only have to rank on Search Engines but we also need to know how to appear on the different responses the new Chat Bots are giving to users; platforms like Chat GPT from Open AI, Gemini from Google, Grok by X.com among others.

According to Google Ads Keyword Planner, the keyword “Airport Transportation” has around 12,100 averages searches per month only in the USA, and according to the Ahrefs Keyword Explorer it has a traffic potential of about 30K.

We don’t know the exact timing of its decline, but SuperShuttle was once a super company for Airport Transportation in the United States and in different parts of the world, we found a news post that their last rides would be in December 31st 2019, but we have found some reviews on TripAdvisor up to April 2024, we are not sure if it’s operating or not. Also their own blog has posts until April 2024, giving us some ideas. SuperShuttle started in LAX and mianly serviced airports in the USA but it went to destinations such as Cabo and Cancun.

Groome Transportation.

On their website, they state that they have over 90 years of experience, their services are provided only in the USA and their main airport is Atlanta, they are working though, their last Facebook post is from February 2025, their last Instagram post is from August 2024 and the last review on Trustpilot is from February 2025.

I don’t think there is much to say about Expedia, this is a worldwide known company and it is running without a problem, the company has presence in all of the United States and we could say pretty much everywhere in the world.

From their Wikipedia profile, Expedia, the company was founded in 1996 as a division of Microsoft (interesting) and in 2011 Expedia Inc. spun off TripAdvisor. Their Headquarters are in Seattle, Washington. It’s main business is hotel reservations but it does everything related to travel. In 2024 their revenue was 13.69 billion. They do publish pretty often on Twitter, although it’s interesting that their last post on Facebook was on 2021. When it comes to reviews on Truspilot, I wouldn’t like to be Expedia.

This is an ongoing transportation company, they state on their website that they have 40+ years of experience and that they have served 50+ million users. The company works mainly in the United States but it also has some international destinations where they provide airport pickups. They do post often on Social Media like on Facebook, and their last blog post is from February 2025, and they have an average staring of 3.2 on Trustpilot

Go with Us is an ongoing Airport Transportation company working since 2007 providing different transportation categories, from shared rides, private rides to black cars and luxury transportation. They work mainly in USA destinations but they also have some rides in international destinations such as Cancun and Tulum. They are alive and they keep posting on Facebook regularly to their 5,000 followers community.

This is a transportation company based in Orlando providing airport transportation services in the area, but not only airport transportation but also point to point transportation services. It provides services from Orlando and Sanford International airports to any destination in the area, such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, sporting events, shopping plazas, theme parks and more. The company has a division called Mears Connect that drives users from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World Resorts and other areas.

The company is up to date on Facebook, and it even has the 2024 Travelers Choice Award.

This is an ongoing bus shuttle company with regular presence online with a vast community on Facebook with over 25k followers.

Carnival.

This is an airport transportation service coach specialized on transfers from airport to the cruise, it uses buses to shuttle passengers from airport to the cruise and back on the day the ship leaves and the same on the day that it arrives, it seems to be a pretty nice service if you ask me… you can book up to 2 days in most of the destinations. The Carnival company offers its services mainly in the United States but it has a couple of destinations abroad, like Barcelona, London, Rome and Singapore.

Cancun Airport Transportation.

This is an airport transportation based in Cancun (it’s where we come from) and we didn’t know it was on the top ten results for “Airport Transportation” in the USA, we new it was first for “Cancun Airport Transportation.

The company exists since 2014 when it first started their website, since then they rapidly grew from 2016 to 2019 non-stop almost by a 100% each year until the pandemic arrived. It has gotten the Travelers Choice Awards by many years and it is one of the top 5 transportation companies in Cancun. Nowadays it has a fleet of 50 vehicles providing private, luxury and group transportation services mainly from Cancun International Airport but it also service the Tulum International Airport.
