Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), officially General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport, is the main airport for Boston and most of New England. It sits on the harbor in East Boston, across the water from downtown, and is run by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport).
The airport has four terminals, A, B, C and E; there is no Terminal D. Delta uses Terminal A, several US airlines and Air Canada use Terminal B, JetBlue's main terminal is C, and Terminal E is the international terminal. If you fly in from abroad, you arrive at Terminal E and clear US immigration and customs before collecting your bags. Baggage claim is on the lower level of each terminal, and pre-booked drivers meet you at the terminal where your flight arrives.
Boston is on Eastern Time and switches to daylight saving time from March to November.
Entry requirements and local notes
US entry at Terminal E. International arrivals clear US Customs and Border Protection at Terminal E and follow the usual US entry rules, including a visa or an approved ESTA for eligible nationalities. Domestic flights arrive without passport checks.
No Terminal D. Logan's terminals are A, B, C and E, so check your airline's terminal before you land and give it when you book.
Rideshare in the garage. App-based rides pick up in the central parking garage, not at the curb; your pre-booked driver meets you at your terminal instead.
