Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is at Ingliston, on the western edge of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, just off the M8 and M9 motorways. All domestic and international flights use a single terminal.
International arrivals pass through UK border control; the UK is not part of the Schengen Area. Flights from elsewhere in the UK and Ireland arrive without passport checks.
