Located about 15 kilometers (9 miles) west of Bogotá’s city center, El Dorado International Airport (BOG) is the largest and most important airport in Colombia. It’s a major hub for international flights across the Americas and Europe, and also a central point for domestic travel across Colombia.
The airport is well-equipped with modern facilities, duty-free shops, restaurants, and VIP lounges. It’s divided into Terminal 1 (for both international and domestic flights) and Terminal 2 (Puente Aéreo, for regional flights primarily operated by Avianca). Free Wi-Fi, currency exchange counters, ATMs, and tourist information points are available to help make your arrival smooth.
