Copa Airlines (Compañía Panameña de Aviación) is the flag carrier of Panama, headquartered in Panama City. It began flying in 1947 and is owned by Copa Holdings, which also owns the Colombian airline Wingo. Copa is a member of the Star Alliance.
Its single hub is Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, which Copa markets as the Hub of the Americas. From there it serves around 90 destinations in more than 30 countries across North, Central and South America and the Caribbean. Because Panama sits between the continents, many passengers use Copa to connect between North America, the Caribbean and South America with one stop.
Copa flies an all-Boeing 737 fleet, including the 737 MAX.
