Nadi International Airport (NAN) is Fiji's main international gateway, on the west coast of Viti Levu near the town of Nadi, and the hub of Fiji Airways. International flights use the international terminal; Fiji Link domestic flights and resort charters use the domestic terminal, a short walk away.
After you leave the aircraft, join the immigration line under the International Passport Holders sign, often to the sound of a welcome song. Go down the stairs to baggage claim, where screens on each carousel show your flight number. Then hand your arrival card to the customs and biosecurity officer and put every bag through the X-ray before you enter the Arrivals Hall, which has currency exchange and phone company stores.
Fiji is on Fiji Time (UTC+12).
Visitor permit. Citizens of many countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, receive a visitor permit of up to four months on arrival. Other nationalities must apply for a visa before traveling.
Passport and onward ticket. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from arrival, and you should carry a return or onward ticket and proof of accommodation.
Arrival card. Every traveler, children included, needs a completed Fiji Passenger Arrival Card, written in English, for immigration and biosecurity.
Biosecurity. Declare food, plants, seeds and animal products, or drop them in the amnesty bins. All bags are X-rayed, and undeclared risk items can bring an on-the-spot fine.
Fijian dollar. Fiji uses the Fijian dollar (FJD); exchange counters are in baggage claim and the Arrivals Hall.

Most international visitors fly into Nadi International Airport (NAN) on the west coast of Viti Levu, close to Nadi, Denarau and the island ferries. Fiji's other international airport, Nausori (SUV) near Suva, mainly handles domestic and regional flights. This page books transfers from Nadi; if your ticket shows SUV, you land on the other side of the island.
Nadi International Airport is about 10 km from Nadi town, a short drive along Queens Road. Denarau Island and Port Denarau Marina are about 14 km away, usually a 20 to 25 minute drive, a little longer when traffic is heavy around Nadi town during the day. Lautoka is about 20 km north of the airport.
Yes. We drive you door to door to resorts, hotels and apartments on Denarau Island, about 20 to 25 minutes from the airport. Give us the full hotel name when you book, so your driver goes straight to the right entrance, and add your flight number so the pickup follows your landing time.
Yes. We can drop you at Port Denarau Marina, where ferries and water taxis leave for the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands. Ferries run from morning to late afternoon, so check your sailing time against your flight. Enter Port Denarau as the drop-off when you book and tell us your ferry time.
Often, yes. The Coral Coast is about two hours from Nadi International Airport by road and Suva about three and a half hours. Share the address of your hotel or resort when you book and we'll confirm whether a vehicle is available for that route; if no price shows, contact us before you fly.
Yes. Enter your flight number and arrival time when you book, whether you land in the early morning or late at night. The booking form shows the vehicles available for that time, and your driver is scheduled for your landing time rather than a fixed office hour.
